Spring is here and we start our spring cleaning. Out experts from Maria House Cleaning has prepared Spring Cleaning Guide for you. Let’s start!
Of course, you can go to the store and buy special window cleaners, but today we propose you to try something natural.
If you want to clean your windows without using harsh chemicals, we recommend preparing a special cleaning solution. Mix two cups of hot water with ¼ cups of vinegar and add a tablespoon of cornstarch.
Vinegar will help you to get rid of dirt and stains and cornstarch will make your windows shine.
You may not know, but newspapers are great helpers in cleaning your windows. After cleaning your windows with vinegar rub them with newspapers.
If you don’t like the smell of the vinegar, you may use different alternatives such as club soda or lemon juice.
Here are several receipts for natural window cleaners:
Window cleaner 1:
- ¼ to ½ teaspoon of liquid dish soap
- 3 tablespoons of vinegar
- 2 cups of water
Window cleaner 2:
- 1/4 cup of white distilled vinegar
- 2 cups of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of liquid soap
Window cleaner 3:
- 2 quarts warm of water
- 2 cups of rubbing alcohol
- 1/2 cup of ammonia
- 1/4 cup of vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap
Remember that you need to clean windows on a cloudy day, because sunlight dries the windows quickly.
While cleaning, remember:
· An old toothbrush can be used for cleaning the corners
· An extra shine can be given to the windows by polishing them with cotton cloth.
· Windowsills should be cleaned with diluted rubbing alcohol. Pour it on the cloth and rub them thoroughly.
If you still need help, our company will gladly come to your house and make your windows shine.
