How to Polish Silver?

Thanksgiving time is coming!!! Christmas time is coming!!! It’s time to prepare for the holidays.

It’s time to clean everything in the house and to prepare the most delicious dishes for your family.

But be sure to clean all the forks and knives before laying the holiday table.

If you have silver flatware, our experts have prepared the tips on how you can clean your silver.

You will need water, dish soap, aluminum foil, baking soda, salt, several pots, silver polish and a clean cloth.

First of all, you will need to wash your silver flatware in soapy water. The water should be warm.

Experts do not recommend washing your silver in the dishwasher, because the heat can warp it.

Place aluminum foil into the pot and then place your silver on the top of it.

The pot should have a lid that fits perfectly.

Boil water in a pot and prepare a mixture of ¼ cup of baking soda and several teaspoons of salt, then mix it with boiling water.

Pour the mixture in the pot with silver. This mixture will cause a special chemical reaction that will help to move black color from the silver.

Leave the pot for five minutes.

Rinse you silver flatware and dry it with a soft cloth.

And the last thing you need to do, if silver looks tarnished, is to use silver polish on it.
